EVOLUTION AIRCRAFT COMPANY LAUNCHES NEW ENTITY TO FOCUS ON NEXT GENERATION OF AIRCRAFT
As a result of the recent sale of all out-of-production aircraft rights along with Lancair brand, the new Evolution Aircraft Company has been launched.
Redmond, OR: Effective February 6, 2017 Evolution Aircraft Company, known exclusively for designing and manufacturing the best performing kit aircraft on the market, completed the sale of all non-Evolution Lancair International Inc. assets to a group in Uvalde, Texas. The new company has purchased the name “Lancair” as well as all the rights to sales and support of everything prior to – but not including – the Evolution Turbine and Evolution Piston line of aircraft.
The newly developed company Evolution Aircraft Company will continue to operate out of the Redmond Oregon facility where it will focus on the development of the Evolution four place pressurized line of aircraft.
Of the recent acquisition, Kevin Eldredge, the President of the newly formed Evolution Aircraft Company and chief architect of this acquisition explains, “now that a smooth transition is complete and all Lancair assets have safely moved to Texas, my team at the newly formed Evolution Aircraft Company (EAC) will focus our efforts on the development of the Evolution line of designs from our Redmond, Oregon headquarters. Multiple engine offerings, updated systems management and an optional piloted UAV platform are all projects that are well under way.”
